My Dog Tess of the Triad is a fully licensed North Carolina based real estate firm owned and operated by construction and business professionals.

Believing that the real estate industry's pricing model was too aggressive, a Durham-based CPA
founded My Dog Tess in 2002 to offer price conscious consumers in the Triangle an alternative to the traditional methods of buying and selling real estate. Word of the savings spread to the Greensboro area and Glenn Wallace, the founder of My Dog Tess, recruited Steve and Cat McSwain to start the first independently owned franchise to serve the Triad market in 2008. Steve and Cat are also the owners of Maplestone Construction, a custom builder and remodeler in Winston-Salem.

My Dog Tess offers sellers alternatives to the high commissions charged by traditional Realtors, and unlike
traditional Realtors, we'll give you cash back at closing when you use My Dog Tess to help you find a new home.

Since inception, My Dog Tess has saved her sellers over $4,600,000. In addition, Tess has returned $1,300,000 to her buyers at closing - over $5.9 million in savings!

My Dog Tess of the Triad serves clients throughout the following counties: Guilford, Forsyth, Davie, Davidson, Surry, Stokes, Yadkin as well as the western part of Alamance County.

My Dog Tess
In short, working with My Dog Tess was a great experience, one that we will keep in mind for any of our future moves, and that we would also recommend to anyone else looking to relocate.
